Gin Fizz
The fizz became widely popular in America between 1900 and the 1940s. Known as a hometown specialty of New Orleans. Many variations are based upon this refreshing cocktail.
Equipment
- Cocktail Shaker
- Jigger
- Strainer
- Rocks Glass
Ingredients
- 1 ½ Oz Gin
- 1 Oz Lemon Juice | Fresh Squeezed
- ⅓ Oz Simple Syrup
- Splash Soda Water
Instructions
- Shake all ingredients with ice cubes, except soda water
- Pour into chilled rocks glass.
- Top with soda water
- Garnish with lemon slice
